Role Overview:
We are seeking a curious, analytical, and entrepreneurially minded intern to join our Innovation & Entrepreneurship team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on ideas, problem-solving, and contributing to projects that sit at the intersection of sustainability and business development thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the research and development of new sustainability-driven programs, products, and service concepts
- Assist in mapping innovation opportunities within target sectors (education, private sector, government, etc.)
- Contribute to the preparation of concept notes, proposals, and pitch decks for new initiatives
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and design thinking workshops
- Help maintain a structured database of ideas, pilot programs, and innovation benchmarks
- Assist in conducting feasibility studies and landscape analyses for proposed initiatives
- Support coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders on innovation projects
- Research best practices and case studies from the regional and global sustainability landscape
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Design Thinking, or a related field
- Genuine interest in entrepreneurship, social innovation, or sustainability
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information
- Proactive self-starter who can work independently and take initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management tools is a plus
- Creative problem-solver with a structured approach to tasks
